Through our club, you can also certify Levels 1, 2, and 3! This allows you to fly the larger rocket motors in those categories. Tripoli Prefects are responsible for signing paperwork for flyers in the Level 1 and 2 categories. Level 2 requires an exam of 50 questions (25 Safety/25 Technical), administered by the Prefect. SARS also has its very own Tripoli Advisory Panel or TAP representative to assist and sign certification paperwork for successful Level 3 flights. Although Tripoli San Antonio is a Tripoli based club, many of our members have dual membership with the National Association of Rocketry or NAR and are capable of certifying members in NAR up to Level 2. Please check with our Prefect prior to requesting any certification level for either organization.

San Antonio Rocket Society also meets informally at Chesters Hamburgers at 1006 N. E. Loop 410 on the first Wednesday of every month.
